This thread is for logging predictions over the course of time so there is no dispute as to who predicted what and when. If you have a prediction, just reply with the prediction in the subject line. Try to make the predictions time sensitive so we can prove each other wrong at some point in time. I will start with a prediction of my own.

A new reserve currency system devised by 2010. Implementation of new reserve currency system by 2012.

this was a prediction about 3 or 4 years ago but the time frame was about 5 years, so we're still on track.

Perhaps people only have a certain threshold for accepting bull, and with the election of the Chosen One, that threshold has been maxed out. That leaves room for GWO to be challenged.

A good theory? No, not at all. But it would be nice, wouldn't it?

2) Will the dollar still be in use in 2011?
3) Who goes bankrupt first - Best Buy or Circuit City?
4) What month does the dollar index drop below 50?
5) Which is the first major city to experience widespread rioting?
6) In which month will we again see $5 gas prices?
7) Will the price of gold reach $5000 before 2010?
Within 4 years will we see martial law?
9) What will be the unemployment rate in December 2009?
10) Is America really going to swallow this crud?

4) What month does the dollar index drop below 50? I have no idea. How about June 2010
5) Which is the first major city to experience widespread rioting? Detroit. Too easy.
6) In which month will we again see $5 gas prices? June 2010
7) Will the price of gold reach $5000 before 2010? No. It will reach $1500 before the end of 2009 though.
Within 4 years will we see martial law? Yes.
9) What will be the unemployment rate in December 2009? It is hard to say because the gov't stats are skewed. I will say the official unemployment rate will be 15% by the government's stats.
10) Is America really going to swallow this crud? Sure.
