The Solution to the Recession

Innovation. Innovation is why capitalism wins against socialism every time.

Freedom allows for innovation. Freedom is the answer.

Freedom from centralized economic planning of our major industries and our monetary policy, to own property, to own your labor must come before innovation can lift us out of this mess.

Innovation is definitely one of the main reason that capitalism is productive and socialism fails. This is because of the nature of capitalism allows for individual economic freedom while socialism does not.

Pushing is not effective as pulling. Ordering people to be innovative and planning how they will be innovative, while confiscating most of their benefits of being innovative, is not a good method of encouraging innovation. In contrast, capitalism allows for natural rewards that occur from innovation. No artificial rewards are needed and no coercion is needed in order to have productive behavior spring up. We can see this on a micro level and a macro level.

I think the solution to the recession is not so much important to us in the state which we find ourselves in (relatively powerless) but the capitalization of the recession might be more important. I think it is important for all of us to know about the history of the great depression so that when BO enforces tariffs and raises taxes like he promised, we have to tools to do battle.
